Bristol is our first purebred American Shire.  Bristol's well known sire, Deighton Black Knight is a multiple-champion sire in halter and hitch --

-- and is a son of Snelson Magnus.

Bristol's maternal brother, Griffin, and paternal brother, Ben, are lead and wheel horses in the Tally Ho Shire's hitch, and are owned by Judy Brodland.  They both have titled in Regional halter classes in the midst of big-gun competition.
